In the fermenting vessel sugars are changed into two products.
One of these is alcohol (ethanol). Name the other product.

Carbon dioxide, which in an aqueous solution is actually an acid called, carbonic acid.
Do not forget many aroma and flavor compounds are produced by yeast in the fermenting vessel also.
